oddklop knee-high compression socks, developed in collaboration with illustrator Maja Horvat, combine comfort, design, and protection during outdoor movement. The upper part of the sock is made from a considered material blend: 60% combed cotton for durability and softness, 20% modal for effective moisture-wicking, and 20% Cell Solution® fibres with permanently integrated insect protection. The footbed is made from 100% cotton for extra softness and breathability in the most demanding areas. Certified to OEKO-TEX® Standard and proudly made in Slovenia. Ideal for everyday wear with a focus on quality and longevity.

Materials

oddklop socks are made from a carefully selected blend:

• 60% combed cotton
• 20% modal
• 20% Cell Solution® fibres

Combed cotton provides comfort and durability, modal contributes softness and effective moisture management, and Cell Solution® fibres contain insect protection permanently integrated into the fibre itself. Cell Solution® retains its protective properties through washing at 90°C for up to 100 washes.

Maja Horvat

Maja Horvat is a Slovenian illustrator and designer, recognised for her colourful, playful, and distinctly personal visual style. Under the creative name Kitch & Krich (@kitchandkrich), she creates illustrations, patterns, and visual stories that blend elements of nature, imagination, and contemporary pop aesthetics. Her work is defined by vivid colours, attention to detail, and a strong authorial signature. For oddklop, she designed an original motif that complements the technical functionality of the sock with a unique illustrative approach and a recognisable visual identity. Maja Horvat also co-shaped the identity of oddklop and created the hedgehog mascot Oddy.

Cell Solution® protection against ticks and mosquitoes

oddklop socks contain Cell Solution® Protection fibres, an advanced technology developed in Germany to protect against ticks, mosquitoes, and other insects. Unlike conventionally impregnated textiles, the active ingredient permethrin is integrated directly into the core of the fibre, from which it is gradually released in small quantities onto the surface of the fabric. This approach ensures long-lasting effectiveness and high durability even after repeated washing.
